Mrs. Sandra McDonald Jones, 78 of Sylvester, died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at her residence.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Gordon and Rev. Jason Jones will officiate.
Mrs. Jones was born on November 24, 1942 in Worth County, to the late Paul Jackson and Georgia Dorminey McDonald. She had lived in Worth County all of her life and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jones enjoyed cooking, working in her yard and garden. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her newly arrived great grandson. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Stacey Jones (Debbie , Stuart Jones (Regina) all of Sylvester; grandchildren, Jordan Jones (Holly), Landon Jones (Andi), Austin Jones (Emily Powell), Mackenzie Jones Bellamy (Dylon) and Jake Jones (Courtney Hamilton); great grandchild, Beau Thomas Bellamy; sisters-in-law-, Geneva Gunter (Randy), Jeanette Fulford, Aurelia Ann McDonald and Faye Dent (Fred).
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, William T. "Bud" Jones on June 17, 2006.
The viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the service hour at Antioch Baptist Church.
