On the 13th of August in 1845 he married Prudence Maude Martin in the villiage of Magheralin, County Down, Ireland.He was the son of Hugh Savage and Sarah Whiteside, his parents were both born in Scotland.Granted citizenship about 1886, he worked as a farmer.
Note - The George Savage who died in Dunn county is not the same as this George Savage. This George Savage died in Everett, Snohomish Co., Washington on December 7, 1905. He died at the home of his son William Savage at 2301 Wetmore.
