HOOKER, LARRY GILBERT - age 73 of Loudon passed away November 15, 2014 at his home. Larry was a devoted member of Loudon Church of the Nazarene where he served in many positions. And he was a Veteran of the United States Army. He had a loving and giving heart and cared deeply for his family and friends. He was never too busy to visit a neighbor or run to school to pick up a sick great niece or nephew.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Trula Thompson Hooker; sister, Donna Hooker Arp; brother-in-law, Jack Nichols; step-son, Rusty Collins.
Larry is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Jean Russell Hooker; step-daughter, Lea Ann Bright Edmonds; sister, Carolyn Hooker Nichols; nephews, Brian Nichols and Charlie Arp; nieces, Kelli Nichols Montooth, Kristi Arp Ferguson, Leslie Arp Lindsey and Carrie Arp; great nephews Jack Nichols II and Hayden Ferguson; great nieces Madison and Hannah Nichols, Alli Montooth, Valerie Ferguson, Kaylen and Maggie Lindsey; brother-in-law, Dewayne Arp. Larry will be missed greatly by his family, friends, neighbors and church family.
