From Bethalto – The funeral of grandma Addington took place from the residence of her son-in-law, Jerry Bitts, three miles south, last Friday afternoon. She was 91 years of age. The remains were interred by the side of her granddaughter, Miss Eliza Bitts, who died quite recently.
