Not sure why James Critchlows death records lists his parents as being born in Germany. His father Archibald's death notice states that he was born in Westmoreland Co., PA and his mother is said to have been in Scotland. Also, It is well known that his parents and family were living in Butler Co., Pennsylvania and before that eastern counties in Pennsylvania.
