Dates for Addisons birth are conflicting because of the death certificate.
Many researchers list John Likens Critchlow and wife as Addisons parents and I feel this is wrong for the following reasons...
1st...If you calculate his age back to find his birth date you will find 1841 should be correct.
2nd...On the 1900 census his birth date is listed as Oct. 1844.
3rd...On the 1850 census John Likens and his 2nd wife were listed with his parents. If Addison was his child he should have been listed there as well.
If anyone has any proof of any parentage please contact me so that we can get this proof out there so that our trees are correct.
