Charles is the son of Jacob Peaslee and Eunice Clement. He was born in Ashland, Grafton, New Hampshire. He married Emma Carr (daughter of William and Sarah Byette)on 25 Oct 1890 in Ashland,​ Grafton,​ NH.

April 16, 1904 - Ashland Citizen p2 - Great sorrow and sympathy have been expressed here during the past week over the death of Charles Peaslee, a former Ashland boy, at his home in West Concord April 8, of typhoid pneumonia.

Mr Peaslee was born in this town 36 years ago and had always lived here until about three years ago, when he went to Concord and entered the employ of the street railway company. He was a member of the A.O.U.W., a highly esteemed young man and one who leaves behind him numberless friends.

He is survived by a widow; a step son; his parents, Mr & Mrs Jacob Peaslee of this place; a brother, J Claire Peaslee of Campton Village; and a sister, Mrs Fred Carr, who resides here.

The remains were brought here and funeral services were held at St. Marks church Monday afternoon, Rev. H.F. Hill assisted by Rev. James Thompson officiating. The burial service of the A.O.U.W. was also given at the church. The bearers were members of the above order and two associate conductors of the Concord street railway. The floral offerings were exceptionally beautiful. Interment was in Green Grove cemetery.Son of Jacob and Eunice A. (Clement) Peaslee. He was 2 yrs of age in the 1870 census with his parents in Ashland. His father worked in the paper mill and he had a sister Adah then age 7. He later had a brother Jonathan born about 1879.

He married Emma (Byette) Carr Oct 25, 1890 in Ashland. She was the daughter of Willima and Sarah Byette born in Canada. It was her second marriage and his first. They were living with his parents in 1900 in Ashland.

Charles died age 36 and 10 days from pneumonia in Concord New Hampshire. Her was a resident of Perley Street Concord. His occupation at the time was that of a street car conductor. Place of interment was Ashland on April 12, Kendall & Dame undertakers, Concord.

His sister Ada was also buried here #46422022.
