Mrs. Adele Steinhilber, 79, formerly of 2015 27th St., Rock Island died at 4:49 yesterday afternoon at Oak Glen Home, where she had resided since June 14, 1959.
Services will be at 1 Saturday afternoon in the funeral home, with the Rev. C.H. Rohlfing, pastor of the Church of Peace, officiating. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park. Friends may call after 7 tonight.
Mrs. Steinhilber, the former Adele Haalk, was born July 22, 1882, in Rock Island, a daughter of John and Dorothea Ohms Haalk. She was a lifelong resident of Rock Island.
She was married to Adolph A. Steinhilber Aug. 4, 1902, in Rock Island. He died Oct. 30, 1958.
She was a member of the Church of Peace, of the German Sisters of the church, and the Rock Island Turners Society and of Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are a son, Harold W.; three grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Theresa Utermohl in Moline.
