PORT ROYAL BERRY, GENEVIEVE, 96, died Friday, September 21, 2007. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Port Royal Cemetery. Visitation: after 11 a.m. Tuesday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.

Henry County Local---September 26, 2007

Genevieve Berry, age 96 of Louisville, died Friday, September 21, 2007 at Baptist Northeast Hospice Unit. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Maggie Herrell DeVore.

She is survived by cousin, Janet Thomas, Carrollton. She was preceded in death by her husband Estell Berry; son Gene Lynn Berry and brother Claude Herrell DeVore.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 25 at Port Royal Cemetery. Rev. Garry Polston, pastor of New Castle United Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in Port Royal Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Louisville, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, Louisville, KY 40205-9890
