Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, October 27, 2020:

Samuel DeAngelo Jr., 74, of Windber passed away Friday October 23, 2020 at Windber Hospital. Born May 21, 1946 in Johnstown he was the son of the late Samuel Sr. and Carol (Jodlowski) DeAngelo. He is also preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Bradshaw. Survived by his wife, Diana I. (Thomas) DeAngelo; a son, Samuel DeAngelo III of Vandergrift; grandchildren, Samuel DeAngelo IV and Krystal DeAngelo, a great grandson, Avery Haltiner; and brother-in-law, Donald Bradshaw of Kansas. Mr. DeAngelo served in the USMC during Vietnam. He was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He then served in the Army National Guard 1/103rd Armor Division in Johnstown with a deployment in Iraq. Retiring after 21 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was a member of the Beagle Club and leaves behind his 2 dogs. There will be no viewing, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
