Joye was the daughter of Ernest Bryan and Lillian Estelle (Anderson) Bryan.

On September 29, 1938 in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas, Joye and Arthur Page Davis were united in marriage. They had three daughters.

1--Gloria Francille [1940-????]
2--Sheila Gay [1941-1999]
3--Merry Lynn (Adopted) [1952-????]

OBITUARY:

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur P. Davis will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Church of Christ. The body will be taken to Frederick, Okla., where another service and burial will be held Tuesday.
Mrs. Davis had been seriously ill since July 24 and died at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital in Arkansas City following surgery.
Joye Eloise Bryan Davis was born at Frederick, Okla., May 11, 1919 and was married to Arthur P. Davis at Abilene, Texas Sept. 29, 1939. The family came to Winfield from Pratt in 1953. Mr. Davis is minister at the Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband and three children, Gloria, Sheila Gay and Merry Lynn. One brother Alvis A. Bryan of South Bend, Vermont. Morris Funeral home is in charge.
Her parents, Ernest and Lillian Bryan was not shown as survivors in this article.
