Burial at Pine Grove presumed. Nick was residing with his wife in Phenix City in 1910, and by 1912 she was residing there as his widow. She was buried at Pine Grove in 1929.

Son of Elisha & Mary Ann (ROBERSON) ELLIS, who married 05 DEC 1852 in Monroe County, Georgia. Mary Ann evidently died between the 1870 census and 08 FEB 1874, when Elisha married Mrs. Nancy LAVENDER in Upson County, Georgia. Elisha apparently died before the 1880 census. Nancy (nee GARRETT) had been married previously to Anthony LAVENDER, by whom she had a number of children.

Emma married 21 APR 1881 in Muscogee County, Georgia, to Nicholas "Nick" ELLIS. Nick was the son of Elisha & Mary Jane (ROBERSON) ELLIS, so Emma and Nick were step-siblings.
