Obituary:
JOHN BRADY WATTERS - Well known resident of Tyrone, died at his home, 1569 Pennsylvania avenue, last night at 9 o'clock. Mr. Watters was born at Bellwood on Sept. 6, 1886, a son of John C. and Minnie J. (Milliken) Watters. He was twice married, the first union being with Blanche Bossler. To this union two children survive, Mrs. George Ellenberger of Jersey Shore, and Mrs. Ralph Frantz of Tyrone. He was united in marriage a second time with Nettie Geraldine Woomer, who survives, with these children: John Robert, Joe Brady, Geraldine Adair and Wendall Woomer Watters. Six step-children and one granchild also survive, and one brother and three sisters, J.M. Watters of Altoona, Mrs. F.J. Wertz and Mrs. R.C. Hagerty of Bellwood and Mrs. Rose Berkstresser of Tyrone. He was a member of the United Brethren church, the Loyal Order of Moose and had been employed in the paper mill. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of the pastor, Rev. J.C. Colledge. Interment will be made in the Eastlawn cemetery.
