Daughter of John Brady Watters and Nannie J. Milliken. Wife of Frank J. Wertz.

Obituary:
Mrs. Mary E. Wertz - Wife of Frank J. Wertz, died suddenly this morning at 12:15 o'clock at her home, 426 North Third street, Bellwood, death being attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. She was a daughter of John B. and Nannie Watters and was born at Honey Grove, Juniata county, on Nov. 11, 1876. She was united in marriage with Frank J. Wertz on Nov. 30, 1893. He survives, with these children: Mrs. Mary E. Lynn, Charles F. Wertz, Mrs. Ethel Mae Estep and Charles Lee Wertz, all of Bellwood, and five grandchildren. Mrs. Wertz was a member of the Bellwood Methodist church in which she was an active worker and also of the various organizations of the church and took much interest in community affairs. Friend will be received at the home after 7 o'clock thisw evening.

WERTZ - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Wertz of 426 Third street, Bellwood, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home in charge of her pastor, Rev. H.T. Covert. Interment in the Bellwood cemetery. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
