Olga Bareille, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Born in Orange, N.J., Olga was raised in Livingston, N.J. After marrying, she resided in Parsippany, N.J., for 45 years. She worked for Bell Labs as a secretary, before starting her own family.
Olga was predeceased by her husband, George, and they were married for 50 years. She was also predeceased by her parents, Edward and Olga Rossi, as well as her brothers, Edward and Ronald Rossi. She is survived by her loving daughters, Suzanne Blanch and her husband, Raymond, and Jeanne Drucks and her husband, Louis. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren, Devin Blanch and his wife, Ashley, Shannon Blanch, Brendan Blanch, Meghan Blanch, Gabrielle Drucks, and Olivia Drucks, as well as her great-grandson, Liam. She also leaves her brother, Victor Rossi, as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Olga was a dedicated wife and mother to her family. While she never embraced technology, she was truly gifted in the art of listening, not merely hearing. She always gave you her full attention, and in a world of multi-tasking and tech overload, she made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. She also wrote long letters, always by hand, that brought comfort and happiness to her family and to others she had never met, through a pen pal program for U.S. veterans.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, N.J. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon at the conclusion of the visitation. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
