Services for Mrs. Ida Rodgers Chatman were held at New Hope Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11th, with the Rev. E. C. Driskell officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery un-der the direction of Lee Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were H. B. Vance, Jr., Robert Cartledge, Dan Wilder, George Thompson and Bill Thompson.
Born in Carroll county May 1, 1870, Mrs. Chatman was married to Mr. Cal Chatman who preceded her in death twenty-six years ago. She was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, V. C. Vance of Winona and Don H. Vance, Charleston, West Virginia and one sister, Mrs. Alma Peters.
