A veteran of WWII, Mr. Booth retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1973 after 35 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Chamblee First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Booth was a native of Jacksonville and a graduate of Landon High School.
Mr. Booth is survived by his wife Margaret Booth; daughter, Linda Kirkland; son, David J. Booth; 2 grandchildren, Serena and Joshua; and 1 great-granddaughter, Emmalyth. Other survivors include a brother, Edward M. Booth of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Edith “ Dedie” Baxley of Gainesville, FL, Jayne Early of Orange Park, FL and several nieces and nephews.
