ROANOKE - Services for Mrs. Lamerle Wadsworth Akin, 82, of Roanoke. Rt 2. will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke.
Mrs. Akin died Tuesday at Chapman Nursing Home in Alexander City.
Survivors include two daughters. Mrs. Frances Michael of Roanoke and Mrs. Faye Adams of Waller, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Bowen and Miss Hassie Wadsworth, both of Roanoke; four brothers, Aubrey Wadsworth, Jack Wadsworth, Bonnie Wadsworth, all of Roanoke, and W.W. Wadsworth of Pelham; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
