ROANOKE-Services for Mrs. Frances Lamerle Michael, 67, of Roanoke were Sunday at Quattlebaum Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Foster officiating. Burial was in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke.
Mrs. Michael died Saturday at Veterans Hospital in Tuskegee.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dona Holley and Mrs. Lynn Lawson, both of Alexander City, and Mrs. Dorothy Lashley of Roanoke; a son, Danny Greathouse of Roanoke; a sister, Mrs. Faye Adams of Texas; and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Michael was a Columbus, Ga., native and a Roanoke resident most of her life. She served in the Army from 1944 to 1946 and was the daughter of the late, Dan C. and Lamerle Wadsworth Akins.
