He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from St Clair County in 1995.
He was a member of Colonial Woods Missionary Church.
Don is survived by his wife, Norma. two daughters and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Elton, Earl and Gerald.
Burial is in Caswell Cemetery.
