Vernie Cecil Bryant, age 57, died at his home near Clayton,on Wednesday, August 28, 1940.
Mr. Bryant was the son of Geo. W. and Ella Hammans Bryant, born March 18, 1883. He was married to Ida Mae Halfhill. (September 1,1900 Morgan County, Indiana)
Beside his widow, Mrs. Ida Mae Bryant, he is survived by four sons: Raymond Bryant, Mooresville; Cecil Bryant, Bridgeport; Clifford and Everett Bryant of Clayton. Also a brother Ernest Bryant, sister, Mrs. Ada Lambert and four grandchildren. .
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, at Cherry Grove. Burial at Clayton.
