Eve leaves her son William J. Gangnon and his wife Shirley of Worcester; daughter- in- law, Joyce Gagnon of Shrewsbury; her sister Ann and her husband Floyd Merriam of Canterbury, Conn and her brother Raymond Zukowsky of Worcester; 3 grandchildren Faith Gangnon Wise, James F. Gangnon of Worcester, and Daniel W. Gangnon of Northborough; 4 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Eve was predeceased by her brothers Edward Zukowsky, Alben Zukofsky, George Zukowsky and Frank Zukowski; her two sons Lee F. Gagnon of Shrewsbury and Daniel T. Gangnon.
Eve was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Anastasia and Anthony Zukowsky. She moved to Northborough in 1952. Eve was a member of the Northborough Seventh- Day Adventist Church. She retired from working at the U.S. Envelope in Worcester after working there for 27 years. She most recently worked at CVS in Northborough.
The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at St. Vincent Hospital and the VNA nursing staff for their kind and caring attention given to Eve in her time of need,.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Eve’s funeral service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. in Hays Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.
