James, white male, age 44y, a laborer, and widowed, died in the morning of September 22, 1906 in Morgan County, of "Heart Disease and Dropsy", due to "Organic Heart Disease, and Diseased Kidneys." He was the son of John James, born in Virginia, and Sarah Moore, born in Kentucky. Thomas James, his brother, was the informant. He was buried at Hilldale Cemetery in Morgan County on September 24, 1906, H. J. Hinson of Martinsville, undertaker.
