Gary Adams, 86, of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home. He was born September 13, 1934 in Bellevue the son of J.N. and Lillian (Rogers) Adams.

Following graduation, Gary served in the United States Army. He married Betty (Winters) on October 15, 1955 in Fremont; She preceded him in death in 2014.

Gary worked as a carpenter for many years and enjoyed woodworking. He served as Pastor of Zion U.C.C. in Bettsville, Ohio until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, Bellevue.

He is survived by his three children: James (Diane) Adams of Bellevue, Denise Gerber of Bellevue, and Barbara (Jesse) Del Rosa of Harrisburg, PA; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a brother, Gordon Adams of Murfreesboro, TN.

In addition to his parents and wife, Gary is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Lewis Gerber.

Friends will be received on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Under current Ohio mandates set forth by the Governor, a mask is required and social distancing will be observed. A funeral service will begin on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 428 Kilbourne St., Bellevue, Ohio 44811. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
