Martha Jane Haithcock Wilks was the beloved daughter of Samuel Haithcock and Eliza Clark Haithcock. She was born on Oct. 22, 1869 in Hebron, Marlboro Co., SC and died on Dec. 2, 1950 in Laurinburg, Scotland Co., NC at the age of 81. Martha was buried on Dec. 3, 1950 at Beaver Dam Cemetery in McColl, Marlboro Co., SC. She was the wife of William J. Wilkes.
