Rev. Andrew Jackson, Wichita Falls Negro Minister for 36 years and Pastor of the Hopewell Church of God in Christ, died in his home at 703 Flood following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife, five daughters: Jean Harris, Los angeles, Andra Lee Flye, Susie Esther Bates, Nynette Jackson and Doris Leathe, all of Wichita Falls; three sons, Charles Eugene, James Henry and John Andrew Jackson, all of Wichita Falls; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy Jackson, Midland and Fletcher Jackson, Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Maude Terrell, Dallas and Esther Penycost, also of Dallas
