Nova Ruth Burrus was born June 30, 1904, in Persia, Iowa, daughter of William T. and Agnes Tague Evans. On Oct. 28, 1942, in Crofton, Neb., she was married to Hazel W. Burrus, who died Feb. 12, 1977.
