Donald W. Gregg of Battle Creek, Age 94, of Battle Creek passed away Friday April 8, 2011 at his home. He was born on November 1, 1916 in Homer to Burt and Lillian (Ballentine) Gregg. Donald graduated from Homer High School and Served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Elizabeth R. Hollister in 1941, she preceded him in death on February 27, 2002. Don was employed by Union Pump Company for 32 years retiring in 1978. He also worked at the Air Service Command from 1946 to 1978. He is survived by a daughter, of Battle Creek, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a brother of St. Ignace, MI. Donald was also preceded in death by a brother, Duane Gregg. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday April 13, 2011 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour before services. Memorial contributions may be given to VA Medical Center, Recreation Fund.
