Booneville, KY - Dora Bowman Seale, 102, of the Owsley County Health Care Center passed away at the Center on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Born in Owsley County on September 12, 1902, she was the daughter of the late Green and Susie Young Bowman, and the widow of Chester Seale. She is survived by three sons, Conley Seale, Rev. Earl Seale and Kenneth Seale, all of Booneville; a daughter, Helen Oditt of Middletown, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; and several great, great, great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Ed Bowman, Albert Bowman, Homer Bowman and Willard Bowman, all of Beattyville, Kentucky. Mrs. Seale was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Seale, two children, Raymond Seale of Beattyville and Jacquline Oliver of Middletown, Ohio; and four brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Banks and Rev. Roy McIntosh officiating. Burial in the Shepherd Memorial Cemetery with Searcy and Strong Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Booneville Sentinel February 24, 2005
