Sandra graduated from Wabash High School in 1962, worked at Anderson Bank for many years and retired as the office manager and bookkeeper from Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department after 13 years.
She loved to play golf, travel, going to auctions, antiquing, quilting, and sewing. She loved her handkerchiefs and going to concerts. She enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and participating in the Haunted Trails with the Hamilton County Parks Department. She was an avid reader, loved music, and most of all being with her family who she adored.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband, George Ralston, whom she married Feb. 8, 1974; children, Nathan S. Lykins and Lesley D. Volk; stepdaughter, Dawn L. Ralston; grandsons, Ethan and Evan Volk; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Lance (Karen) Eckman; nephews, Bret and Mark Eckman and Bruce Bridges; great-nephew, Kristopher (Kimmi) Eckman; cousins, Jim Eckman, JoEllen Eckman Cline, and Paul Schmidt; brother-in-law, John (Vickie) Ralston; sister-in-law, Tamara (David) Bridges; and numerous friends who adored her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park following the service.
