Evelyn M. Bryant
Ill for five months, Evelyn Marie Bryant, 80, Mooresville, died Saturday afternoon, Aug.11,1990, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She had lived in Mooresville since 1974, moving there from Chicago.
Born Jan. 31,1910 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Leo and Catharine Rybarczyk Kappus.
She married Franklin Bryant. He died February 17. 1960.
Mrs. Byrant was a cook for Kneip Meat Packing in Chicago for 10 years, retiring in 1974. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include a son, Robert R. Bryant of Martinsville; a daughter, Shirley J. Dalton, Mooresville; a sister, Mae C. Hopwood, Martinsville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
An infant son, a brother, Frank Kappus; a sister, Pat Lee, and one great-granddaughter Danielle Marie Anderson preceded her in death.
The 11 A.M. Tuesday funeral will be at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville. The Rev. Al Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Samaria Baptist Church Cemetery at Paragon.
