Mrs. Bessie Medlin, 37, wife of B. M. Medlin, 1017 Whaley street, died at 11:30 Friday night at the Columbia Hospital after an illness of two weeks.
Mrs. Medlin had lived here for the past three years and was formerly of Bishopville where she was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Williams, Blackville, and Miss Mabel Medlin, Columbia; three sons, Otis Watson, Howard Ray Watson, and Junior Brice Medlin, all of Columbia; and one brother Ellis Childers, Hartsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 Sunday from Wayside Baptist Church near Bishopville, by the pastor of the church. Interment will follow in the Churchyard.
The funeral party will leave the residence at 2 o'clock.
