Born in Frank, Russia, Sep. 16, 1887, he came to the USA in 1905. He married Kathryn Kauffman at Sugar City, Feb. 10, 1909. She died June 25, 1934. He later came to Greeley, where he married Mrs. Mary Elizabeth [Specht] Schmidt, Nov. 5, 1934. She died Nov. 5, 1961.
He is survived by [all are now deceased] 3 daughters, Mrs. Edith Wolfe, Sugar City; Mrs. Mary Schmidt of Gilcrest; and Miss Mollie Ginther of Colorado Springs; two sons, Jake Ginther of Calif., and John Ginther, Long Beach, Calif. Also surviving are 3 stepdaughters and 4 stepsons.
