Carlos Patiño, born December 20, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Refugio Solis. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia, and two step-children, Benito and Selina. He is also survived by his brothers; Raul, Miguel, Armando and sisters; Diana and Arlene. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home-East-Chapel of Remembrance. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am Friday at St. Michael's Chapel #2 at Fort Bliss. Family and Friends wishing to attend services should gather at the Funeral Home by 8:30 am. for an escorted procession onto Fort Bliss, otherwise an individual Fort Bliss day pass can be obtained at the Cassidy Gate entrance for those wishing to attend the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at 11:00 am. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr., El Paso, TX 79915.
