Monnie W. ''Bill'' Allen, 71, of Charity Neck Road, died April 1, 1996. He was retired from Virginia Beach Public School Dept. of Operational Services.
He was the son of the late Glover B. Allen and Reta M. Allen. Survivors include his sisters, Cassie A. O'Brien , Dorothy A. Swanner, Catherine A. Craft, Carol A. Skinner all of Virginia Beach and Thelma A. Montgomery of Chesapeake; and his brothers, Ray Allen, Frank Allen, Ronnie Allen, all of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday April 3, 1996 at Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Tommy Reynolds. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. "
