Services for Thomas B. Aden, 58, bureau chief for the Associated Press in Arizona the past eight years, will be at 2 p.m. today in Mercer Mortuary, 1514 E. Thomas. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale.
Mr. Aden, who was with the AP 30 of this 34 years as a newsman, died of cancer Monday in Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Christmasville, Tenn., he was chief of the AP bureau in Nashville, Tenn., before coming to Phoenix in 1966.
After he was graduated from the University of Missouri school of journalism, he had worked in Joplin, Mo., Denver, Boise, Idaho, Portland, Ore., and San Francisco.
