Booneville, KY – Louise Cole Barrett, 75, widow of Fred Barrett, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Barrett was born May 9, 1931, in Booneville, Kentucky to the late Everett and Lucy Callahan Cole. She was a homemaker and a member of the Indian Creek Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son, Ronnie (& Monica) Barrett; three grandchildren, Toi and Brady Barrett and Mika Smith; and a great grandson, Mason Corey Smith, all of Booneville, Kentucky; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Roberts; a granddaughter, Jennifer Roberts; and a brother, Lewis Cole, Jr. Funeral services were Monday, August 21, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Booneville Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Powlas and Rev. J. Jamison Brunk officiating. Visitation was held Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Burial in the Campbell Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky, with the Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Brady Barrett, Joh Smith, Dale Callahan, Eddie Duff, Gary Cole and Ronnie Gay. Booneville Sentinel August 24, 2006.
