Mrs. Sara Bates Hunter; of the South Side, died at 5:30 o'clock last evening at the age of 84 years and six months. She had been confined to her bed for the last 16 months. Surviving are three children, Frank E. and West, at home, and Mrs. William King, of Latrobe; also four grandchildren. Four brothers, Samuel Bates, Eugene Bates and Abner Bates, of Latrobe, and D. N. Bates, of Blackllck, also survive. Friends will be received at the Gosnell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Gosnell Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, with Rev. W. A. Sites In charge. Interment will be made In Youngstown cemetery.
