William Franklin King, 67, of Riverside passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006. Mr. King was born on Sept. 11, 1938, to Hubert and Bessie King in Paris, Texas. He was employed as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy Renee Schisser; son and his wife, William James and Kathy King; grandchildren, Ashley Dixon, Jonathon Cody Dixon, and Kelsey King; and step-grandchildren, Jeff Bevington, Steven Bevington, and Josh Bevington along with numerous cousins.
Memorial services for Mr. King will be conducted at 1p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at Huntsville Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Sarah Sandlin officiating.
