Robert was self employed in car sales, then owned B & B Marine in Port Clinton. He went on to Don Paul Ford, where he retired in 1996 as the service manager. He also served in the National Guard, was a former member of DeMars Hunt Club and Isaak Walton, as well as a member of Water of Life Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Diana McCoy; three sisters, Mayme Throop, Opal Sargent, and Gladys Rothschild; and one brother, James McCoy.
Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Julane Ruth (Baumer) McCoy; three daughters, Jolane (Frank) Gonzalez, Debra Taylor, and Constance (Forrest) Groves; two sons, Michael (Debi) McCoy, and Jack (Kim) McCoy; four sisters, Myrtle Taylor, Verlie Slater, Elizabeth Dunbar, and Dorothy Sue Mays; 16 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
