Obituary:

Mr. Alvin "Suga Man" Brown, 51, went home to be with his heavenly Father, Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was the son of Nellie Justice Jackson Brown and Mr. Walter "Sunny" Huley.

He went to Charles A Bell Elementary School and Alton Park Junior High School. He loved to breakdance and make everyone laugh. He always said he was the best Zap dancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter "Sunny" Huley; grandmother, Maude "Tiny" Brown; grandson, Marcus T. Arnold; nephew Dmyunn Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Kimberly Johnson Brown, mother, Nellie (Rodney) Jackson; two daughters, Sinquaida Blackmon and Shanera K. Romero; grandmother, Pauline Sanders; grandchildren Malcolm M. Romero Terrence Locke, Jr and Nevaeh Blackmon; five sisters, Felisha Favors, Shawanna Hines Brown, Towan Whaley, Jacqueline Bridgeman, Demetria Brown, and Torrie Brown; uncle, Andre' Flippin; five aunts, Joyce (Morris) Dawson, Delores (Larkin) Lloyd, Agnes Brown, Pauline Evans and Mylene Flippin; a devoted cousin/brother, Dequan Sam (Mikesha) Lacy; devoted friend, Sharon Bowles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A public viewing will be held 2:00PM-6:00PM, Friday, August 28, 2020 at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
