She was the former Edna Long, a native of Louisville and an owner/operator, vice president and chairman of the board of directors of Turn-Act Inc. and Enterprise Sales and Planning.

She was survived by her husband, Charles F. Evans Jr.; sons, William B., Tim R., and Charles F. Evans III; daughter, Laura Evans Brown; siblings, Diana Miller, Linda Cardwell, Jim Long, Jerry Long and Jeanette Long; and grandchildren, Jennifer and Lauren Evans and Benjamin and Maggie Berry.
