Researcher's Note: In speaking with Mr. Thomas Hutchens from the Huntsville Public Library ~ Heritage Room, P.O.Box 443 Huntsville, Alabama 35804, Phone 256-532-5969, on May 28, 2013, he kindly looked up John's obituary for me and provided his death date, the 10 surviving children's names and that he was a farmer in Madison and passed away at age 60. That would make his birth year about 1871 not 1880 as originally written on this memorial page. July 1871 is on the 1900 U.S. Census as the birth month and year. In the 1880 U.S. Census he is 6 years old. The obituary does not list parents.
