Note: Two children were born to Walton and Ethel; daughter, Mildred Knox born abt 1935 and son, J.D. Knox born May 15, 1936. They are seen in the 1940 U.S. Census.

Annie Lorene Panella, married October 07, 1944 in Madison County, Alabama. Daughter of Gilbert Panella and Lorene Smith. Source: Alabama, County Marriages, 1809-1950, Page 144. Annie passed away 10 years later, November 16, 1954 in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama at the age of 29. Ironically, Walton was a widower at age 29 at the time of their marriage.
