Cleo Wheeler, 96 of Benton, went to be with the Lord Friday, September 7, 2007 at Benton Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Wheeler was born October 8, 1910 in Lonsdale to the late Daniel Bouie and Rosie Burks Dodson.

She was also preceded in death by: her husband of 50 years, William V. Wheeler; her son, William M. Wheeler; a granddaughter, Cheryl Anne Wages; and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Wheeler was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Benton.

Survivors include her daughters, Rosie Wheeler, Judy Wages, and Joyce Bullard all of Benton; seven grandchildren, Marvin Wheeler, Tammy Young, Carla Hill, Daryl Wages, Yvonne Snyder, LaDonnya Wainscott, and Chris Wainscott; five great-grandchildren, Alex Young, Devon Hill, Leslie Hill, Brick Beaty, and Brittany Wages; one brother, George Dodson of Louisiana; two sisters, Ruth Beam of Benton and Margaret Harrod of Decator; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment was in Hicks Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Edward Turner, Mike Holt, Steven Roy, Bobby Beam, Norman Caple, and Rob McClerkin.
