Demetrios Ypsilantis (also spelled Dimitrios) was a member of the prominent Phanariot Greek family Ypsilantis, dragomans of the Ottoman Empire. He served as an officer in the Imperial Russian Army and played an important role in the Greek War of Independence. He was the brother of Alexander Ypsilantis, leader of Filiki Eteria.
