Ray Tull, 72, a resident of Route 4, died Wednesday evening Wright Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday at the Slater Funeral Home with Brother Melvin Stanton, pastor of the Trenton Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in the Payne Cemetery, northeast of Hatfield, Missouri. A family visitation is scheduled from 7 to 8 pm Friday at the Funeral Home. Mr. Tull was born April 24, 1903, in Harrison County, a son of Ruben and Minnie Smith Tull. He attended Harrison County schools, and on Sept 26, 1923 was married to Gladys Gregg in Harrison County. He farmed in Harrison County until moving to Grundy County in 1947. On Dec. 23, 1955, he was married to Mrs. Nellie G. Fairchild at Trenton. Survivors include his wife, Nellie of the home: four daughters, Effie, now Mrs. James Dabler of Trenton, Nina Fay, now Mrs. Carl Richardson of Tulsa, Okla., and Colleen, Now Mrs. Johnnie Adams and Cora Velle, now Mrs. Marvin Little, both of Versailles, MO.; one son, Kenneth Tull of Trenton; three stepdaughters, Phyllis, Now Mrs. Elwood Lutz of Chicago, Ill., Ellen, now Mrs. Jerry Berlin of Lubbock, Tex., and Betty, now Mrs. Don Clarkson of Hannibal, three stepsons, Kenneth Fairchild of Jameson and Robert Fairchild and Richard Fairchild, both of Chillicothe; two sisters; Mrs. Pearl Smith of Hatfield and Mrs. Lucy Allen of Redd
ing, Iowa; two brothers, Alvin Tull of Shannon City, Iowa and Roy Tull of Red Oak, Iowa; 28 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one grandchild and four brothers.
