She was a member of DeSoto Chapter No.
201, Order of the Eastern Star. She
served as the first worthy matron of that
chapter.
She was past president of the Riverview
Parent-Teachers Association, member of
the First Church of Christ Science in Tampa,
Riverview Garden Club, and Civic Club.
Survivors include her husband, John;
a son; a daughter; a foster daughter;
three brothers; and one grandchild.

charge of funeral services.
