Susan Anderson Minzak, 51, of Tunkhannock, died at home on Friday night. Her husband is Joseph R. Minzak, and they were married on Dec. 31, 1979.
Susan was born in Meshoppen on Jan. 12, 1955, daughter of John Whitman Sr. and Romayne Elizabeth Scott Anderson of Tunkhannock. Susan graduated in 1973 from Tunkhannock Area High School, where she enjoyed being a majorette and belonging to the Library Club. She also went to Elk Lake Vo-Tech to study to become a cosmetician and went to Star Academy in Pittston for a manager's license. She passed away with her family by her side.
Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer Deininger; Anna St. Clair; and Bobbi Jo and husband, Justin Ely, all of Tunkhannock; a son, Joseph Robert Minzak IV and fianceé, Patricia Jette, Lake Winola; five grandchildren, John, Randy, George and Bruce, all of Tunkhannock; and David, Alabama; two sisters, Patricia, Tunkhannock; and Emma, Kansas; four grandchildren, Paige and Dakota Deininger; and Tamara and Dylan St. Clair; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with private services at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola.
Friends may call on Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming County Cancer Society, 8 Ironwood St., Tunkhannock; or Hospice Community Care, 601 Wyoming Ave., Kingston.
