LYONS - Mrs. Irene Cora Wolfe, 75, died Friday morning at Rice County District Hospital after an illness of two months.
She was born Feb. 24, 1885, at Jewell, and came to Lyons in 1908. Her husband, Burn, died in 1952. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ensley Morris, Lyons; three sisters, Mrs. Sue Fulton and Mrs. Josephine Zipsie, both of Jewell; Mrs. Etta Curtis, Houston, Tex.; three brothers, John Gabe, Topeka; Curtis and Len, both of Jewell; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Crawford and Miller Chapel, Rev. Clyde Gale officiating with burial in Lyons cemetery.
